Vacation

For the first time in our marriage, Christopher doesn’t have school and work responsibilities. For FIVE WEEKS. It’s a beautiful thing. We haven’t done a whole lot but hang out with the kids and watch movies. Tonight Megan had a t-ball game and I was thinking how we will soon transition from a baby-family to a school-aged-kid-family. Meaning, we will soon have a calendar full of planned activities. Now, I know we’re not supposed to overschedule our families. But we are happier that way. We like to have things to do and places to be.
