Halloween, Take One

Our first night of Halloween festivities was the Darden Halloween party. Since I was in charge, it was fabulous, of course. 🙂

Gavin was a dragon and Megan, who changed her costume idea about every five minutes, decided to be a ballerina. She was definitely channeling Dakota Fanning in “Uptown Girls.” I stopped on the Monticello Trail before the party and attempted a photo shoot, but the kids were much too interested in the leaves, sticks, and bugs on the ground. I got a few good shots, though.

While I got ready for the party, Christopher carved a jack-o-lantern with the kids.

The party was a hit, thanks to all the good help I had with decorations, crafts, and food.
