Gavin is clingy when I’m around,

but even worse when he’s sick, tired, or hungry. Today he spent all day in bed with me. He ate his snacks in bed, because “Gavin pregnant, too!” (He also likes to regress to baby talk to get his point across.) At the end of the day he insisted on sleeping with me. But he wouldn’t sleep on Christopher’s side of the bed. He wanted me to hold him. “Mama needs her space,” I told my almost four-year-old, as I was trying to read a book. He insisted: “Gavin needs Mama’s space, too.”
