Home Run

If I do say so myself, I’m not bad at throwing parties.

My inspirations: former BYU stake president Dwight Flickinger, and Lorelai Gilmore.

Megan’s early 7th birthday party slash farewell party went perfectly.

We ate pizza as the girls arrived. After pizza, we decorated cupcakes,

blew out the candles,

and opened presents.

Then we decorated goody bags, which the girls filled with candy and makeup. We painted nails and applied sparkly eyeshadow. Then the girls watched Monsters v. Aliens while I cleaned up.

We had a blast, and I may do the whole thing over again in a month. It was a great way to get to know Megan’s friends and their parents, and show my little girl how much I appreciate her.

  1. THAT LAST PICTURE IS ABOUT THE CUTEST I HAVE EVER SEEN.Down here, we do a photo montage at our Rehearsal Dinners the night prior to our wedding. THAT picture would most certainly make the slide show.
