Heat stroke

The name of the game today was staying cool. I took my big kids to a “sprayground” in the morning while it was still 85 or 90 degrees. After being spoiled by DC- and Seattle-area spraygrounds, the single rusty pole with some water shooting out the top was a disappointment. The park was nice, though, albeit sandy, especially after the kids got their Keens wet in the single sprinkler. We didn’t stay long. On the way home we stopped by the Titus’ pool, and because there was a big spider in it (which I removed), they didn’t want to swim, either. We came home and ate lunch and played Wii.

  1. You have gotten some seriously awesome photos of that baby girl! This one, and the one in the post right after it, with all the double chins? A-mazing.
