My new thing is laying on my ironing board with my toes about two feet higher than my head. If the Trendelenburg position doesn’t flip this baby, at least I tried.

Yesterday, Ben took a short nap and Allison said, “I think I’m going to take the kids and run errands.” I told her there are so many things I’d rather do than run errands with the boys, especially if the weather was gorgeous, but she’s more of a shopping than park type, so I told her to go for it. She stopped at the grocery store, Rite Aid, and Costco. Since the temperature only hit about 70, I asked her to make a pot of chili for dinner. With the doctors imploring me to eat more protein, I couldn’t think of a better way to do it than a bowl of meat and beans.

Today was a yucky, gloomy day and more than one of us lounged in our pj’s all day. I actually was going to meet a preschool director for a few minutes, which I didn’t think would hurt my bed rest. I showered and got dressed, then got in the car. It wouldn’t start. One of the kids messed with the interior lights. I went inside and got back in my pj’s. Oh, well. I called the preschool director and she said no worries.

I’m not sure if I’m going to enroll Ben, anyway. He has such separation anxiety issues, I don’t know if preschool would help or make things worse. Plus, our church has a co-op preschool two days a week at the same time as this preschool. Maybe I’ll do the co-op and use the money I would save to hire a cleaning lady.

  1. I love that you are taking matters into your own hands! Hopefully Mr. Man will flip so no C-section will be necessary. I can't believe Ben is old enough for preschool. Honestly, where does time go!?
